Strategic Thrusts

In order to realize the vision of the unit and its mission in particular, the unit has developed a set of strategic thrusts that correspond to the requirements of the strategic plan of the College of Computing and Information Technology as follows:

  • Promote scientific research.
  • The appropriate research environment.
  • Distinguished scientific meetings.
  • Partnerships with third parties.
  • Researchers Relations.

Each strategic thrusts has a strategic objective as follows

  • Dissemination of the scientific research culture among faculty members and students.
  • Create a research center to set up and publish outstanding research.
  • Organizing conferences, seminars, workshops and scientific meetings.
  • Holding and developing scientific partnerships locally and abroad.
  • Consolidating social relations among researchers, in order to improve teamwork.
  • Specific objectives and corresponding programs

The specific objectives are to be achieved by GRASP under the analysis of their internal and external environment. Together, these objectives will ultimately lead to the achievement of the strategic objective of each of the five thrusts of the Strategic Plan. On the other hand, the programs corresponding to each specific goal refer to the tool that will be used to achieve this goal. In order to simplify and implement the strategic plan, at least two programs have been identified for each specific target. For more specific objectives for each strategic objective associated with one of the thrusts of the plan, download the guide below.
