About the Program

The master’s program offered by the Department of Information Technology at FCIT provides students with opportunities to enhance their knowledge of current topics in the field of information technology. The program is flexible and allows students to gain in-depth and extensive knowledge in the field of information technology. The program includes the basic courses in addition to a specific field of specialization. The basic programs are selected to provide an expansion in the field of information technology. In order to deepen study, the program includes four tracks: The first one is in the field of Technology Management (TM), the second one is in the field of Internet Technology (In T), the third one is in the field of Networks Security (NS), and the fourth one is in the field of Advanced Information Technology (AIT). Technology Management track provides an in-depth study about the strategic management of information technology systems in organization’s environment. Internet Technology track offers in-depth knowledge in internet technology and applications. Networks Security offers depth in designing and spreading developed security techniques within the infrastructure of computer network throughout the organization.Advanced Information Technology track enables students to study the academic courses in all tracks. In order to complete the Master program, a student must conduct research in one of the fields of information technology and related majors.
