Standards and Controls

The Research and Scientific Partnerships Unit (GRASP) – Faculty of Computing and Information Technology – King Abdulaziz University – in preparing its strategy to be in accordance with a number of Standards and Controls that ensure the complementarity and compatibility of its activities and projects, and ensure the achievement of its objectives over the long term. Here are the set of basic Standards and Controls adopted by the Unit in developing its strategy.

At the national level

  • To work under the direction and objectives of the overall strategy of the Kingdom.

On professional and vocational level

  • To comply with all administrative, organizational and technical variables in the faculty and the unit.
  • To achieve cooperation and joint fruitful work with the relevant authorities.
  • To be flexible to meet the requirements of the era and its variables.
  • To adopt distinctive research projects that keep up with the latest developments in modern technology.
  • To achieve reliability and adopt the principle of self-development of resources.
  • To seek to reduce operating expenses while achieving the highest level of required efficiency .

At the educational and academic levels

  • To derived from and corresponds to the strategy and general directions of the University.
  • To represent a basic and specific approach to the activities and directions of the Faculty.
  • To achieve fruitful interaction between all elements of the educational process.
