About the Program

The Department of Computer Science offers an academic program for earning a doctor of philosophy degree(in Computer Science) through conducting research that ends in writing a dissertation and studying some courses. The program aims at: providing scientific cadres in the suggested specialisation in order to achieve self-sufficiency in the future, Enriching and entrenching current scientific concepts through doing studies and research that seek to promote the theoretical and practical knowledge by following scientific style in research and technology. The program also aims to develop the applied skills of the graduates of the Computer Science Department who are working in different fields (academic / industrial / services) by familiarizing them with the latest developments and techniques in the field of advanced computer science, computer networks and software engineering.

Provide graduate students with substantial research, technical, and scientific capabilities to develop innovative solutions and conduct research of exceptional quality in sub-disciplines of Computer Science to address the demand in academia, industry, and society.
