About Microsoft Academy
The Microsoft IT Academy program is a set of integrated educational solutions that connect students, teachers, employers and local communities through a lifelong learning model to develop technology skills.
Why Microsoft Academy
It was developed to bridge the gap between education and real working life by providing students with the set of IT skills they need for a successful career in technology focusing on the requirements of the job market today, and also providing professional development resources for teachers.
The granted certificates
Microsoft grants accredited certificates to applicants that make them distinguished in the competitive job market today. It also contributes to expanding the range of job opportunities available to them. These certificates are as follows:
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams prepare students to be more productive in education and work.
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) These exams provide an entry-level opportunity to explore various technical careers.
- Microsoft Associate / Expert Solutions (MCSA / MCSE) provides steps for exams verifying a student's ability to design and build innovative solutions across multiple technologies, both on the premise and the cloud.
Access to resources
- Ease of use of the members' site with access to all information, programs, support and resources all in one place.
- Microsoft Blog for Academic Information Technology that helps you stay up to date on what's new and useful.
- Download and print Certificate of Completion certificates for students who have completed any of the Microsoft certificates.
- Access to the Microsoft Regional Support Center through the Inquiries and Assistance program.
